LushAIChat – Privacy Policy

Lushai Technologies & Consulting Pvt. Ltd. ("LushaiTech," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the LushAIChat mobile application and related services (the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Information You Provide

When you register or use the Service, we may collect:

  • First name and last name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Profile photo
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Address
  • Occupation
  • Chat prompts, conversations, and other content you submit through the Service

1.2. Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including device information, IP address, browser type, usage data, and cookies or similar technologies, in accordance with applicable law.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your account and subscription
  • Respond to your requests and support needs
  • Improve and train our AI models (as further described in our Terms of Service), in accordance with applicable law and your choices. This excludes any data obtained from Google APIs, which is never used for model training — see section 4.
  • Send you service-related communications and updates
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Service

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with service providers who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing), in accordance with contracts that require them to protect your data. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of users, or with your consent. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Google Workspace Integration (Google User Data)

If you are on the Agentic plan you may choose to connect your Google Account so that the LushAI assistant can act on your behalf in Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Google Drive, Google Sheets and Google Docs. This connection is entirely optional, is never enabled by default, and can be disconnected at any time from your Profile page.

4.1. What we access

When you connect your Google Account you are shown Google's own consent screen listing the exact permissions requested. We request only what the assistant needs to carry out the actions you ask for:

  • Google Calendar (calendar.readonly, calendar.events) — to read your upcoming events and to create, change or cancel events when you ask.
  • Google Tasks (tasks) — to list your tasks and to add, edit, complete or delete them when you ask.
  • Google Drive (drive.file) — limited to files the assistant itself created or that you explicitly select. We cannot see the rest of your Drive.
  • Google Sheets (spreadsheets) and Google Docs (documents) — to create, read and edit spreadsheets and documents at your request.
  • Basic account identity (openid, email) — to show you which Google Account is connected.

We do not request access to Gmail or to your email messages.

4.2. What we store

We store only what is required to keep the connection working: an encrypted Google refresh token, the list of permissions you granted, the email address of the connected Google Account, and connection timestamps. The refresh token is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.

We do not store the contents of your Google data. Calendar events, tasks, documents, spreadsheets and file listings are read from Google at the moment you ask a question, used to produce that one answer, and are not written to our databases or retained afterwards.

4.3. How we use it, and Limited Use

Google user data is used solely to provide the features you request in your conversation with the assistant. To carry out your request, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider strictly for the purpose of generating that response.

LushAIChat's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not use Google user data to serve advertising, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the feature you requested or where required by law, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, where required for security or to comply with applicable law.

Google user data is never used to train AI models.

4.4. Revoking access and deletion

You can disconnect your Google Account at any time from the Profile page in LushAIChat, which revokes the token with Google and deletes our stored credentials. You may also revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting your LushAIChat account also removes any stored Google credentials.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and to comply with legal obligations. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data in accordance with our account deletion process and applicable data protection laws (including Google Play Store and Apple App Store policies). Some data may be retained for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. You may request to delete your account at any time through the settings in the LushAIChat application or by contacting us at INFO@LUSHAITECH.COM. We will process your request in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 13. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you should use the Service only with your parent or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we become aware of such collection, we will take steps to delete it.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We take steps to ensure that such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be available within the Service and on our website. If we make material changes, we will notify you (e.g., via the Service or the email associated with your account). Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
